About MegaGreen

MegaGreen is a Romanian food manufacturer specializing in hummus, Mediterranean salads and refrigerated food products.

Established in 2020, we operate our manufacturing facility in Afumați, Ilfov, near Bucharest, serving retail, distribution, food-service and private-label customers.

Alongside our own product portfolio, private-label manufacturing is a core part of our business. Customers can select from existing MegaGreen formulations or work with our team to develop products tailored to their brand and market.

Our purpose-built facility covers around 1,350 sqm of operational area, including an 820 sqm production and cooking hall, a hygienically separated 285 sqm vegetable preparation area and 250 sqm of cold storage. It operates under FSSC 22000 and IFS certified systems.

MegaGreen also runs its own tahini production on site. Tahini is the key ingredient in hummus, and producing it ourselves gives us control of the whole process from raw sesame seed to finished paste — supporting consistent quality batch to batch and more stable pricing through the year.

As MegaGreen expands internationally, our objective is to be a reliable European manufacturing partner for retailers, distributors and food-service companies looking for high-quality Mediterranean chilled foods.
