Hummus
MegaGreen manufactures classic and flavoured chilled hummus at our certified production facility in Romania. The range includes traditional recipes, flavoured hummus and products with toppings, for retail, distribution, food-service and private-label customers.
Hummus with Mushroom Topping

Chilled vegetable and Mediterranean-style salads manufactured in Romania, including matbucha, beetroot, cabbage and grilled pepper recipes. The range also covers our eggplant and tahini products — eggplant with tahina, white tahini and tahini with parsley — for retail, distribution, food-service and private-label customers.
Red Cabbage Salad

Our Own Tahini Production
Tahini is essential to the flavour, texture and overall quality of our hummus, which is why MegaGreen operates its own tahini production facility on site. Producing tahini in-house lets us oversee the entire process, from selecting the raw sesame seed through to the finished paste. We use sesame from Humera, a growing region long recognised for its sesame quality. The result is consistent taste and texture in every batch — and more stable pricing through the year as market conditions change.

With a portfolio of over 200 recipes, partners can select an existing MegaGreen formulation, adapt one to local market taste, or bring their own recipe for scalable production.

MegaGreen operates a purpose-built chilled-food manufacturing facility in Afumați, Ilfov, close to Bucharest — around 1,350 sqm of operational area, with an 820 sqm production and cooking hall, a hygienically separated 285 sqm vegetable preparation and cutting hall, 250 sqm of cold storage, and a separate, fully integrated tahini facility. The layout is designed around full process separation and IFS / FSSC requirements.
